To Whom It May Concern:
I saw the ministry of Lisa Lannan long before I met her. On New Year’s Eve 1999 I watched a video in church called The Father’s Love Letter. I was not looking forward to a new year due to many different events in my life, but The Father’s Love video gave me hope. I later found out that Lisa had supplied it to our pastor.
It wasn’t until 2001 that I actually met Lisa Lannan through another ministry called First Place. It was another point in my life when I really needed some hope, and this time Lisa was there in person. Lisa is that kind of person, a “can-do” person who puts her faith into action.
Lisa has initiated plan after plan to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ here in Kingman, and all over the world. I have assisted her in the food truck ministry, Father’s Love Letter distribution, and the Thanksgiving dinner at Kingman First Assembly. It’s always been her initiative that got the events planned and taking place.
I have watched Lisa battle multiple sclerosis over the years, but she never once used it as an excuse to not do what God asked of her. Every time I go to church many people ask me, “How’s Lisa?” and “When is she coming back?” I tell them I wish I knew.
It’s not just at church that people ask, Lisa has impacted hundreds of people in our community, and thousands of people in the US and internationally. Her integrity is confirmed by her church here in Kingman, as well as many other ministries and community leaders in the US and Canada.
There are still many projects undone and people not being reached because of Lisa’s absence. We want this resolved so she can return to Kingman.
Lisa’s Visa status was clearly in order. The response letter to Congressman Trent Franks does not even come close to Sandy Shuffler’s first hand account of the events.
I am asking for a complete investigation into the documents and facts in this case. A much more thorough investigation of this event must be conducted, and the officers involved should be asked to explain their methods in this event to a judge. Let this matter be decided under the laws of our land, and not the whims of an agency.
